In a collaborative effort between Octave and LightScribe, the new CMIII SATA LS model is the Industry's First Complete LightScribe Standalone DVD and CD Publishing System. LightScribe was invented by Hewlett Packard (HP) as a laser labeling technology to burn images onto compatible optical discs through licensed drives. The new CMIII SATA LS models offer an array of improved features, most notably the ability to inscribe text or full graphic labels directly onto LightScribe CD and DVD discs without being connected to a computer. The CMIII SATA LS is the most productive, reliable, and cost effective LightScribe publishing system on the market.

  • Able to label discs with full graphics and text using LightScribe Technology: Using LightScribe capable discs, the duplicator can burn the labels onto all the discs in the drives at the same time.
  • Improved Load and Copy Supported: Improved "Load and Copy" transfers the data from the master disc to the internal HDD while simultaneously coping that data disc to disc on the first run. All subsequent runs are copied through the HDD.
